Data Services

Many conservation organisations have significant amounts of spatial information, old mapping, historical records etc. held in a range of non-GIS formats: paper maps, spreadsheet files, graphics; photography etc. To allow the continued use of this valuable information following a transistion to a GIS it is frequently useful to convert these into digital form.

The combination of such historical data with spatially located new survey information, can allow the reconstruction of habitat/community change as shown right. Such perspectives can assist greatly in managment planning as well as public education and interpretation exercises.

If you have such existing spatial datasets, please contact us to discuss the options we can offer.
